What's the relationship between inventors, innovators, and entrepreneurs?

There is a very close and important relationship ...

1. Everyone is creative in some way or another ... able to make something that is new to themself. Children drawing stick figures are certainly being creative.
2. An inventor uses creativity to make something new and different than what already exists in the world (or at least the county in which the inventor lives if the inventor is able to receive a patent). However, an invention is not necessarily better than what already exists ... just different! An invention is not necessarily an innovation, but it could be!
3. An innovator is someone that creates something not only new and different, but also better! An innovation is not necessarily a product or thing ... it could be a process, a method, a way of serving the customer in a new and better way. An innovation is not necessarily an invention, but it could be!
4. An entrepreneur is someone that puts an innovation (something new and better) to work!
5. Every new business venture needs an innovator and an entrepreneur ... sometimes the innovator and entrepreneur are the same person, sometimes not!
